SkyPilot Networks Joins WiMAX Forum™ and Commits to WiMAX Products
Company's Carrier-Class Wireless Broadband Architecture Poised to Incorporate Emerging WiMAX Functionality
Santa Clara, California - May 23, 2005 - SkyPilot Networks, a leading provider of carrier-class wireless broadband systems, today announced it has joined the WiMAX Forum™, an industry-led, non-profit organization that promotes the interoperability and certification of broadband wireless products using the IEEE 802.16 standard. By joining the WiMAX Forum as a principal member, SkyPilot committed to integrating 802.16-compliant products into their portfolio of multi-service mesh networking systems.
