Course Overview
"SkyPilot Technical Training" is a comprehensive, instructor-led course designed to prepare students to install, configure and operate SkyPilot equipment.
The course focuses on preparing students with the essential knowledge to install, maintain and operate their SkyPilot system using SkyPilot's hardware and software products. The subjects covered include site survey requirements, the SkyPilot wireless operational theory, planning the deployment, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience using both the CLI and SkyPilot EMS is gained through lectures and exercises covering all aspects of the SkyPilot family of products.

Target Audience
Technical staff tasked with the design and deployment; installation and configuration/provisioning; troubleshooting and support of SkyPilot equipment.

Prerequisites
To benefit the most from this course, attendees should already have a general understanding of, and experience with, networking concepts such as:
OSI Layer 2: wired and wireless LAN technologies (Ethernet, 802.11b)
OSI Layer 3: TCP/IP networks, DHCP, SNMP, and routing protocols
RF Basics in the wireless spectrum

Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the students will understand the features, operation, and technology behind a SkyPilot network and be able to perform the following responsibilities:
Determine optimal locations for nodes based on the target customers and environmental factors
Install SkyPilot software and hardware equipment in different environments
Configure nodes through either the CLI or EMS
Operate and maintain the wireless network
Troubleshoot and isolate issues for both hardware and software products

Tuition
Classes at our Santa Clara Facility are $1000 per student
Classes at remote locations are $1500 per student
A 25% discount applies for companies that have two or more students attend the same class.
Onsite classes for up to 10 students are available domestically for $7500 plus T,E & S (Travel, Expenses and Shipping)
